ST NIC V PETERSTON THE MATCH TO END ALL MATCHES

LIV Sheehan are you the teams new personal trainer?

Following many weeks of inclement weather we finally managed to play a game against our local rivals, Peterston. This was just a Year 5/6 game and every child who attends training played. Peterston took an early 2 goal lead, in spite of some solid defending from Elliot ‘DM’ Sutton and Olivia ‘Clark’ Davies. So deft footwork from Jacob ‘S’ Miller, Mackenzie ‘MH’ Parsons and Nick ‘Miota Bon’ Pritchard lead to a cracking goal and a 2-1 Half Time Score. The second half started with a Peterston attacking offensive, taking a 5-1 lead, in spite of more good defending from Liv ‘M’ Sheehan and Alex ‘Bonjour’ Scheid. This was the final score in spite of spirited midfield play by Joe ‘Ski’ Compton and Ieuan ‘S’ Evans, complemented by some sensational saves by Josh ‘LS’ Murray. There is no shame in losing if you’ve tried your best, however in this game, the level of intensity that had brought many victories from Pendoylan just wasn’t there. Report written by coach G-Man
